Truly characterful place to have any meal and maybe bump into some actor or famous person as well. Great menus and top service.

We had the beef schnitzel, Moroccan lamb chops, and a beef grinch ado, all of which were appealing in presentation and equally delicious. Good wine list. Very nice atmosphere at both the EAstwood and Silver Lakes locations.

We popped in late morning for a quick drink. The minute you walk in you get the feeling that you are in a Cafe somewhere in Europe. There is inside seating that opens out onto a great outside covered area. The service was good and staff are all in smart uniforms. I tried the Frappe (wizzed up cold black coffee) that was really good. There is lots of good parking right outside the front door. The food going out to the tables around us looked good and customers seemed happy. If you do visit this place then make a point of visiting the Groenkloof Butchery in the centre next door, it is also known as the boerewors butchery where you will find some of the best wors and biltong in SA.

The restaurant atmosphere was peaceful, cosy and romantic. The service made us feel warm and welcome, and we learned a few interesting facts about wine and food. The food was incredible, and we enjoyed the different types of wine that complemented each dish. Overall there is nothing I would change about the restaurant. This is definitely me and my husband&#39;s new favourite!
